Reading the Photo
To read the numbers for you, AnyBP sends only this photograph (and its size) securely over the internet
to an AI service run by Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, in the United States). Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, passes it on.
Anthropic's AI, Claude, reads the systolic, diastolic and pulse numbers and sends them back.
Your name, email, other readings, notes and medications are not sent.
You'll check the numbers before anything is saved. Your saved blood pressure history stays on this phone.
Anthropic deletes the photo within 30 days and doesn't use it to train its AI.
Read the privacy policy
If you say no, nothing is sent: AnyBP tries to read the photo on this phone instead, and you can always type the numbers in.
You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy.

Your data
Tip: in the Files app make a folder called AnyBP_photos (Files, Browse, tap the ⋯ menu, New Folder) and choose it when the Save screen appears. Your phone remembers it for next time.
Back Up Now and Export JSON save your readings, medications and any photos still waiting to be checked in one file; Import restores it.
Export CSV saves readings only, for a spreadsheet.
Apple Health
Adds the blood pressure, pulse, weight and waist readings you save to Apple Health, and keeps them up to date when you change or delete them.
Only for the person using the app now. AnyBP doesn't read anything from Health.
Reminders
A daily reminder on this phone to take your blood pressure. Works with the app closed.
Lock
Ask for Face ID (or your passcode) before showing your readings.
Region
Appearance
Automatic follows your phone: light by day, dark when the phone is in dark mode.
Style
Calm is the soft lavender look. Clinical is plainer and denser, in your iPhone’s own colours.
Privacy
To read the numbers automatically, AnyBP sends only the photograph (and its size) securely to an AI service run by
Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, United States), through our hosting provider Cloudflare, after you agree.
It is used only to read the systolic, diastolic and pulse values. You must check the values before they are saved.
Your saved blood pressure history remains on your device.
